Sunrise on a misty morning just outside Pretoriuskop Rest Camp.
The 'famous' S100 has never been too productive for us except on this day when we came across these two old guys too tired to move. It was a boiling hot day and all they could do was sit there panting and occasionally looking up to watch passing birds.
These mothers spent at lot of time at a waterhole trying to herd the babies bewtween their legs as there was a hyena approaching. Eventually they had had enough and decided to chase the intruder away. One youngster was determined to keep up!
