Wells Cathedral, Wells, Somerset, England Away from the main body of cathedral is this fantastic staircase which is also featured in my photo The Long Climb . I would have taken the shot anyway as a purely architectural photo but the ‘ceiling admirer’ I think gives it a different focal point. What do you think?
The Nave in Wells Cathedral, Somerset, England showing the famous Scissor Arches, a unique structure in English cathedrals, Although the design and construction looks quite modern the arches were constructed between 1338 and 1348 after cracks began to appear in the tower due to unstable foundations.
