We stayed overnight in a Forestry Commission car park in Glenbrittle on the Isle of Skye and just as we were getting dinner the sun dipped down and brole through the trees. One of those lucky moments that can never be planned.
Lovely sunset over the mountain of Blaven on the Isle of Skye
Had my eye on this house for some time and only called in while passing not expecting too much as the light wasn’t brilliant but then the sun came out for just a couple of minutes making things possible. It’s a house that will probably never be modernised as there is no vehicular access. It stands beside a sea loch close to one of the ancient Callanish stone circles. A perfect home in the days before cars but who would want it now?
