Callanish II

Many who have heard of the famous Callanish stone circle on the Isle of Lewis may not realise that there are several other stone circles narby that are associated with the main site. This particular circle is a mile or so away and is known as Callanish II.

Unlike the main circle this one is quite difficult to do justice to in a photograph since there are only five stones left standing. This to me was the best composition to show off these last remaining stones It does capture the beautiful colours and textures of the stone.
